Web design in Fürth
Looking for a Webflow developer in Fürth? Start with the honest answer.
Webflow is a capable tool. Here is when it fits, what it costs, and the alternative I offer from Fürth.
In a nutshell
A Webflow developer builds websites in Webflow's visual builder, with CMS and hosting on Webflow. I don't build Webflow sites myself. For clients in Fürth and Nuremberg I use WordPress or custom code, at a fixed price agreed after our first call. A 5 to 12 page business website typically costs 4,000 to 9,000 Euro.
You searched for "Webflow developer Fürth".
Chances are you came across a Webflow site you liked. Smooth transitions, fast loading, a modern look.
So let me be upfront: I don't build Webflow sites.
I build with WordPress or with custom code. I've been working on the web for more than 20 years, as a freelancer based in Fürth. I still want this page to be useful to you.
You'll get an honest comparison. You'll see what Webflow does well and where it falls short. And you'll find out what a website in Fürth and Nuremberg realistically costs.
Maybe Webflow is exactly right for you. In that case, you'll know what to watch out for by the end.
Maybe an alternative suits you better. That will become clear too.
Webflow or WordPress: which one fits your business?
Webflow is a visual no-code builder with its own CMS and hosting built in. WordPress is an open platform you can run on almost any server.
Webflow runs in your browser. You drag elements onto a canvas, and clean HTML and CSS are generated behind the scenes.
Responsive design is part of the package from day one. You decide how each page looks on phone, tablet and desktop.
Its real strength is animation and interaction. Scroll effects, transitions, moving elements: all possible without writing your own code.
WordPress works differently. It's open source and freely available. According to W3Techs, it powers more than 40 percent of all websites. That means a huge choice of hosts, plugins and developers.
For small businesses, the question is usually a practical one. Who will look after the site two years from now? Will you add an online shop? Do you want the site in more than one language?
For a shop, WordPress has WooCommerce. For almost any special requirement, there's a plugin. Webflow is more of a closed system. Everything runs on one company's platform.
That isn't a flaw in itself. It's a trade-off.
You exchange freedom for convenience, and both come at a price. You can read how I set up WordPress on my page about getting a WordPress website built.
What a website in Fürth costs, upfront and ongoing
Upfront costs depend on scope, not on the platform. With Webflow, a fixed monthly hosting fee comes on top.
Roughly speaking, the market charges the following. A small website with up to five pages costs 1,500 to 3,500 Euro. A business website with 5 to 12 pages costs 4,000 to 9,000 Euro. Larger projects with custom design and a CMS start at 10,000 Euro.
That applies to Webflow and WordPress alike.
Ongoing costs
With Webflow, you pay for hosting directly to Webflow. Plans start at around 15 Euro per month, and with CMS from around 25 Euro (as of 2026, depending on billing cycle). Current plans are listed on Webflow's pricing page.
With WordPress, you choose your own host. Maintenance comes on top.
The market charges 50 to 200 Euro per month for that. My maintenance plan costs 59 Euro per month, net. It includes updates, a daily off-site backup and a monthly functionality check. Details are on my website maintenance page.
A fixed price instead of an open tab
I bill website projects at a fixed price, which I give you after our first call.
There's no standard price list. A one-page site for a solo business is a different job from a multilingual company website. The details of how this works are under web design at a fixed price.
Managing content yourself: CMS, client editor and everyday use
Both platforms let you edit content yourself. The difference is how much you're able to touch.
Webflow keeps design and content clearly separate. Blog posts, team members or projects live in the CMS. Clients get a simplified view, often called the client editor.
There you change text and images directly on the page, while the design stays locked.
That's comfortable. There's very little you can break.
With WordPress, a lot depends on the setup. A good setup only shows you the fields you need. A poor one shows you everything, and suddenly every small text edit turns into an adventure.
I build WordPress around how you actually work. Who updates which content? How often? With how much experience? The admin area follows from those answers.
A typical case: a trade business wants to show off finished jobs. New entries come in every few weeks. A simple form with a title, some photos and a short description does the job perfectly.
Often that's all you need.
Things get interesting with multiple languages. Webflow offers a paid add-on for this. WordPress handles it through plugins. Both work. The costs are just spread differently.
SEO, page speed and relaunching without losing rankings
Webflow delivers lean code and solid SEO basics. What really matters is content, structure and a carefully planned relaunch.
Webflow produces tidy code. You manage page titles, descriptions and redirects directly in the platform, and its hosting serves pages quickly.
WordPress can be just as fast. It comes down to the theme, the plugins and the hosting. A bloated theme slows every page down. A lean setup doesn't.
In the end, a different question matters more: can people in Fürth find you on Google?
That rarely depends on the platform. It depends on clear pages, good copy and a well-maintained business profile.
A relaunch without losing rankings
The switch is where the risk lies. Relaunches are the most common moment for rankings to drop. Old URLs disappear, redirects are missing, and Google can no longer find the pages.
That's true in both directions.
Every old URL needs a new destination. Every important page needs its content back. Only then should the new site go live.
Webflow adds one more point. You can export the code, but the CMS doesn't come with it. If you might move later, plan for that carefully. More on this under website relaunch.
A freelancer instead of an agency: how a project runs
An agency brings a whole team. A freelancer brings one dedicated contact, from the first conversation to launch day.
Search for "Webflow agency" and you'll find specialised teams in and around Nuremberg, with designers, developers and project managers working together. On large projects, that has real advantages.
It also costs more. On the market, agencies typically charge 90 to 200 Euro per hour.
I work on my own. My hourly rate is 100 to 120 Euro, net. You always talk to me. No project manager in between, no handover to someone new.
From brief to launch
It starts with a conversation: 15 to 30 minutes, with an honest assessment.
You tell me what you need, and I tell you what I think. If Webflow is the better fit, I'll say so.
Next comes the fixed price, then the design in Figma. You see your pages before a single line of code is written.
After that come the build, the content and testing on phone and desktop. Finally, the launch, with every redirect in place.
What I build myself
Instead of a long client list, I'd rather show you my own software. zeit, events, casa, topf-secret, denkpause and henry are products I built myself. They run in real-world use, and you're welcome to take a look.
Design, code and strategy, all from one person, right here in Fürth.
Sound like a fit? Let's talk.

Frequently asked questions
Do you build websites with Webflow?
No. I build with WordPress or with custom code in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. If Webflow is clearly the better fit for your project, I'll tell you that openly in our first call.
How much does a Webflow website cost?
Scope sets the price, not the platform. On the market, a small website runs 1,500 to 3,500 Euro, and a business website with 5 to 12 pages runs 4,000 to 9,000 Euro. Webflow adds hosting on top, from around 15 Euro per month, or from around 25 Euro with CMS (as of 2026).
Is Webflow better than WordPress for small businesses?
It depends on your plans. Webflow is convenient and strong on animation. WordPress is more open, runs on almost any server and comes with a full online shop through WooCommerce.
Can I update my website's content myself?
Yes, with either platform. Webflow offers a simplified editing view for this. With WordPress it comes down to the setup, which is why I shape the admin area around how you actually work.
What does ongoing maintenance with you cost?
My WordPress maintenance plan costs 59 Euro per month, net. It covers core, plugin and theme updates, a daily off-site backup and a monthly functionality check. Content changes are billed by the hour at my regular rate.
Can I move from Webflow to WordPress?
Yes, as a relaunch. You can export your code from Webflow, but the CMS stays behind. The key is clean redirects for every old URL, so you don't lose your rankings.
